This is one of the premier events in the Southeast. The Rattlesnake Roundup is over 50 years old and attracts approximately 25,000 visitors each year.

Krewe of St. Andrews Mardi Gras Parade, Panama City Beach, FL

The Krewe of St. Andrews gives back to the community by contributing to several local charities and to local colleges in scholarships. The Krewe has donated over $50,000.00 to many charities over the years.
This is just a few:
Sunrise Community, Second Chance, Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, Margaret K. Lewis School, Girls, Inc., Sims Veterans Home, Haney Technical Center, Florida State University Panama City, and Gulf Coast State College.  This money was raised through several fundraisers hosted by the Krewe of St Andrews.

The Battle of Natural Bridge was fought on March 6, 1865 and was one of the last significant Confederate 
victories of the Civil War. The battle preserved Tallahassee's status as the only Southern capital east of the 
Mississippi River not captured by Union forces and also prevented the economic devastation of key areas of 
North Florida and South Georgia.

Scottish Festival & Highlands Games, Panama City, FL
The Panama City Highland Games and Scottish Festival features Celtic musical performers. A presentation of Highland and Irish dancing will take place on the grounds. Kilted athletes from all over the Southeast will compete in the Highland Games, which include the caber toss, Scottish hammer throwing, and the farmer’s walk, to name a few. Scottish and Celtic themed merchandise and catering vendors, as well as an annual show of the Bay British Car Club, are another exciting part of the Festival. The whole day is a wonderful family event!

Each year that the festival continues the layout along the beautiful Destin Harbor Boardwalk we continue to grow. We see an increase in sponsors, vendors, and guests each year. The Destin Seafood Festival is hosted along the Destin Harbor and is free to the public! Without the gracious property hosts allowing us the use of their properties it would not be possible. Allowing a festival that hosts almost 70,000 guests in three days, use of beautiful water front land and asking their full time tenants to accommodate the festival, is nothing short of amazing.

Havana's Annual Pumpkin Festival, Havana, FL
This annual festival is Havana’s signature event and the perfect way to celebrate the beautiful fall season. Streets are lined with art, crafts, and food vendors selling their wares. The town comes alive in a carnival-like atmosphere full of activities for the entire family: hay & pony rides, obstacle courses, costume contests, games, face-painting, magicians, pumpkin decorating and much, much more. Local merchants show their creativity with beautiful displays of pumpkins, Halloween and fall décor.

The Jazz-By-the-Bay festival will be held at Oaks-By-the-Bay Park in St. Andrews. The festival will feature ten hours of jazz over two days performed by six jazz bands playing a variety of jazz styles.

Mighty Mullet Maritime Festival, Panacea, FL

Wakulla County is famous for its mullet -- and this festival celebrates that very fact. Held at Panacea's waterfront Woolley Park, the festival features food vendors stocked with mullet and other fresh seafood dishes, as well as arts and crafts dealers and live music the entire family can enjoy. The Mighty Mullet Day Festival, which began in 2005, is also a benefit for the Big Bend Maritime Center in Panacea, a museum honoring the maritime history and heritage of the Big Bend.

The Panacea Christmas celebration begins with a huge parade down U.S. Highway 98, complete with decorated boats sponsored by local businesses and civic organizations. Local homeowners and businesses also participate in bringing the Christmas spirit to life by decorating their homes and storefronts for the event. After the parade, a 20-foot Christmas tree is lit in downtown, complete with free refreshments, entertainment and children activities.

This annual event put on by the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office is a way to give back to the kids in the community. An arrangement is made by the WCSO for Santa Claus to pop by Hudson Park for pictures with children and to accept gift wish-lists. There will also be games, prizes and train rides, as well as a host of vendors with holiday-themed products.

Market Days is one of the Southeast’s largest and best juried arts and crafts shows, featuring the unique, handmade creations of approximately 300 artists and top-quality artisans and craftspeople.  Filling six of the large fairgrounds’ buildings, as well as outdoor plazas and medians, Market Days offers a wonderful array of works in various price ranges, from breathtaking fine art to charming stocking stuffers. The works include fine arts, ceramics, country furniture, stained glass, woodwork, glasswork, dolls, clocks, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, metalwork, clothing, photography and calligraphy.

New Year's Eve Celebration, Destin, FL

In the spirit of the holidays, Shell Point residents -- who are renowned for making their way around the tiny Wakulla County coastal community via golf carts -- dress up their golf carts with festive decorations. The festival begins with a lineup and a parade and is capped by a pot luck dinner at the Apalachee Bay Fire Station.
